HONDA ACCORD 1.5L TURBO CTV ENGINE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Brand: HONDA
GH₵ 715,000
Product Details
Engine Specifications (1.5L VTEC Turbo)Horsepower: 192 hp @ 5,500 rpm
Torque: 192 lb-ft @ 1,600–5,000 rpm
Technology: Direct injection, a low-inertia mono-scroll turbocharger with an electric wastegate, and dual Variable Timing Control (VTC).Transmission Mechanics (CVT)Design: Unlike a traditional automatic transmission that relies on fixed gears, a CVT uses a system of pulleys and a high-strength steel belt. This allows it to continuously adjust ratios for seamless acceleration.
Driving Feel: To prevent the "rubber band" feel typical of older CVTs, Honda programs this unit with Step-Shift logic, which simulates the distinct shift points of a standard gear-based automatic during heavy acceleration.
Maintenance Requirement: This system strictly requires Honda HCF-2 CVT Fluid. It is highly recommended to perform a transmission drain-and-fill service every 30,000 to 50,000 miles to keep the belt system lubricated and prevent premature wear.
